Cavallara is a place beyond the ordinary,
set on a gentle Romagna hill between the sea and the Valmarecchia valley,
just a 10-minute drive from Rimini, Santarcangelo, and San Marino.
If a place has a story, it stays in your memory forever
The result of years of patient and discreet work, this project began to pulse with life, encounters, and new energy in January 2025.
It’s a space that carries the scent of the past and preserves details of essential elegance — created to welcome and make everyone who enters feel truly at home.
What makes Cavallara even more unique is the presence of an extraordinary private club: a collection of over 13,000 vinyl records and CDs — the historical archive of Rimini’s Slego and Velvet Club — enriched with artistic photographs that tell a precious story of both personal and collective memory.
Cavallara was created as an elegant and welcoming rural hub — an ecosystem that includes a music-inspired B&B, a home restaurant, and a large green park designed to host events.
It’s a vibrant space for experiences: from holistic practices to yoga, from courses and workshops to artistic residencies and cultural initiatives — all connected by a common thread: authentic, simple, and high-quality sharing.
B&B
The house hosts a special B&B: an entire ground-floor apartment with multiple garden accesses, exclusively reserved for guests (from 1 to 4 people belonging to the same group).
Inside, you’ll find the Music Room, which holds Thomas Balsamini’s private collection of vinyl records and CDs, as well as the historical archive of Rimini’s Slego and Velvet clubs.
Home Restaurant
In the veranda overlooking the garden, the woods, and the surrounding landscape, you’ll find the home restaurant, which can host up to 16 guests indoors around a single communal table. In summer, dining moves outdoors to the large event garden.
The home restaurant hosts dinners, lunches, and brunches — either shared or reserved for private groups.
Reservation is always required.
Events
Organizing small events is our passion. Creating special memories of meaningful moments is our mission.
All Cavallara spaces are available, and we’ll be by your side every step of the way.
Artistic residencies
Cavallara is also a space for connection and creative exchange.
Here, we open our doors to artistic and gastronomic residencies — unique opportunities where diverse talents can live, create, and share their experiences in an authentic and inspiring environment.
Artists, chefs, musicians, writers, and creatives from every discipline find in Cavallara an ideal refuge to develop their projects, intertwine knowledge, and bring new collaborations to life.
We believe in exchange as a core value, in hospitality as a shared language, and in the beauty of time devoted to research and experimentation.

Today, with Cavallara, her new project nestled among the hills of Santarcangelo, Lucia takes a new step forward. For the first time, she puts herself on the line personally, becoming the face and voice of a place that is much more than a physical space.
